As part of the eCommerce-Québec event organised by the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail (CQCD) and held last October 4-5 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, Groupe BMR was awared this year’s Virage numérique prize.

The finalists were Garneau et Gosselin Photo and Groupe BMR, the jury selected the latter because, as stated in a CQCD press release “it was able to create an omnichannel shopping experience with eCommererce platforms that allows everyone to purchase the hardware products and the materials they need, whether they are on the worksite, in the office, at home or in one of the 325 stores that are part of the BMR network.”

Let’s not forget that this year the Groupe BMR website has become a transactional site after undergoing a significant visual and technological makeover. The digital shift is ongoing for all of the company’s banners as it implements an omnichannel approach.
